Christina Loley studied psychology and mathematics, with focus on statistics, at the Westfälische Wilhelms- Universität Münster. Thereafter, she became research assistant and PhD student at the University of Cologne. Since March 2009 she is research assistant at the Institute of Medical Biometry and Statistics, University of Lübeck, and at the Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein, Medizinische Klinik II. Her research mainly addresses genetic epidemiology.
